What I've been up too...

Been a little busy installing a great new project! I've been working on this house for the last year and half and it turned out great! I spent two weeks pulling this house together and the homeowners have finally arrived. More pictures and details soon but I thought I'd share what I've been up to.

Why not twin beds?

Twin Beds in a guest room can be so fun and functional too! Why not try this combo in your home? This is a great blend of color for the room too!

My Kitchen Before and After

The kitchen was the biggest project we tackled in our house. It was so much work but we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. It was good for me to go through a kitchen remodel as I now have a better understanding of what my clients go through when they do it. Because our house has such old bones I didn't want to stray to far from a classic kitchen. I wanted it to look like it could of been there forever but had some modern touches added. I've always been drawn to a black and white combo with marble so the kitchen was actually fairly easy for me to design. Yes, I fretted about many small decisions but the overall direction was an easy one for me.  It is still a work in progress. I have backsplash being installed in a couple of weeks and I still need to figure out the window treatments. I know both of those things will add a major impact to the space.

There wasn't a bathroom on the main floor so we tucked one in the kitchen. We knew it was now or never with the remodel and I'm so glad we did it! It's itty bitty but it is cute! Below are the before pictures of the kitchen.

Outdoor Living

It's that time of year where we get to enjoy living in the outdoors. It's such a great feeling to be able to spend countless hours outside. I especially love it when homes make the outdoors feel like the inside. Why not have beautiful furniture and window treatments to compliment your home? It will only make you use the space that much more. It might be something to consider if it it's a space you haven't made pretty yet!

Fireplace

Now, this is my kind of fireplace! I love the 3 sided open design and the neutral stone has a very elegant  feel! What a beautiful clean aesthetic!

Keep it Simple

I think this beach home is a perfect example of keeping the interiors simple while still maintaining a beautiful aesthetic. Color has been used very simply but also very impacting! I love it and could move right in!
