Academy Award Inspiration

You know how sometimes you see something and you can't get it out of your head? I have been doing that the last couple days. I saw Cameron Diaz at The Academy Awards and I loved her dress. In fact I thought she was styled perfectly. Her hair, makeup, & dress were all very classic. I am a big fan of Cameron as an actress which might be why I thought she looked so stunning! Her dress was by the one & only Oscar de la Renta.

So often I think fashion translates so well into interiors. I think this room is a perfect representation of Cameron's classic look! Wouldn't you love to be watching the Oscars in this room? I know I would!

Then... she hit the after parties in this wonderful number by Victoria Beckham. I think this dress is also a fabulous dress!

I was recently reading one of my favorite blogs Elements of Style and came across this gorgeous new accessory! They are great statement pieces! I think they are so beautiful and can be dressed up or down. The company is called ROARKE New York. Each one is unique and stunning! I think I'm adding this one to the Christmas list!

Fur & Animal Print have been highlighting the runways for this seasons hottest trend. It's a trend that really anyone can do easily. You can do it simply by having your gloves or small piece of clothing have the print or fur on them like the picture below by InStyle or by making the commitment and doing a jacket or sweater with it like the picture above also from InStyle. It is also nice as you can easily bring this trend into your home.
These gloves are great! I think they are a must for this winter. I really like the gray leather as well, but the fur is a wonderful way to bring in a little of this seasons trend!

Isn't this room lovely!!! I really like the orange wall but honestly the leopard sofa is so wonderful! If your ready to make an impact with this seasons hottest trend this would be the way to go!
