What a beautiful sitting room! I thought this was only fitting to be a part of my fabulous collection of rooms! A few of my favorite details are the window treatments (Did you see the applique?) and the fret work going up the center of the chairs! I also love the color combo!

The Mansion
I was lucky enough to have the week off from work between the holidays and with that came many projects at my home. One of which was a little chair project inspired by the picture above. I have been hanging on to this ad from Scalamandre all fall and knew at some point it would come into my designs. I picked up an antique Baroque chair this past summer and decided it needed some red paint and a once and red check! So I painted the chair last week and am taking it to my upholsterer tomorrow! I'm sorry I don't have the chair to show you quite yet but hopefully soon I can reveal the finished product! I know I can't wait!
